Welcome to boffbees.com (the “Site”). These Terms & Conditions apply to the Site and all of its divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliate-operated websites that reference these Terms. This website is owned and operated by BoffBees. For the purposes of this website, “seller”, “we”, “us”, and “our” all refer to BoffBees.

By registering for an account, accessing, browsing, or otherwise using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Site.

1. Use of the Site

Use of the BoffBees website is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under Nigerian law.

If you are under the age of 18 years, you may not register as a user of BoffBees, make purchases, or use this Site independently. If you wish to use the Site, such use must be under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who is eligible to use the Site.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if it is discovered that a user is under 18 years of age.

By using this Site, both parties agree that it may only be used in accordance with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Site.

We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable, and non-exclusive license to access and use this Site for personal shopping and informational purposes only. Commercial use, resale activity, or use on behalf of any third party is prohibited unless expressly authorized by us in writing.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity carried out under your account. If any information provided by you is false, inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access.

Membership on BoffBees is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or remove services and fees at any time without prior notice. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦).

2. Rules of Conduct

You agree that you will not use the Site to host, upload, share, transmit, publish, or otherwise distribute any material or engage in any conduct that:

belongs to another person without proper authorization
is false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive
is defamatory, threatening, abusive, obscene, hateful, unlawful, or invasive of privacy
promotes violence, discrimination, harassment, gambling, money laundering, or illegal activity
infringes any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights
contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
attempts unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other users’ accounts, or connected systems
uses bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, deep-linking tools, or similar automated processes without permission
interferes with the functioning, security, or integrity of the Site
impersonates any person or entity
solicits passwords, personal data, or confidential information from other users
sends spam, chain letters, junk mail, or unsolicited marketing messages

We reserve the right to monitor content and activity on the Site and to remove or restrict any content or conduct that, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or applicable law.

By posting Content, you grant BoffBees a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from that Content in connection with the operation, promotion, and marketing of the Site and our business, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

You represent and warrant that:

you own or have the necessary rights to submit the Content
the Content does not violate any law or third-party rights
the Content is not defamatory, unlawful, or misleading

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, edit, reject, or remove any Content at any time.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on BoffBees, including but not limited to text, graphics, product descriptions, photographs, designs, logos, icons, videos, audio, interface elements, and software, is owned by or licensed to BoffBees and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, distribute, modify, transmit, display, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site or its content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use expressly permitted by law.

6. Terms of Sale

General

By placing an order on BoffBees, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are making the purchase under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of goods through this Site.

Pricing and Payment

We aim to provide accurate product and pricing information at all times. However, pricing or listing errors may occur. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order placed for an incorrectly priced item.

If your order is affected by a pricing or availability error, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the order and notify you accordingly. If payment has already been made and the order is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

Orders above ₦100,000 must be fully paid before processing unless otherwise stated.

For your safety, please do not make payment to any individual or account claiming to represent BoffBees unless officially communicated by us.

Product Availability

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or refuse orders at our discretion.

Delivery

We currently deliver within Nigeria. We may expand to international delivery in the future.

We aim to deliver within the estimated timeframes shown on the Site, but delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for delay or failure to deliver where such delay is not caused by our negligence or fault.

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss remains with BoffBees until the item is delivered to you. Once the item has been received, the risk passes to you.

If an item is damaged after delivery, responsibility lies with the customer.

Returns and Refunds

Our return and refund process is governed by the policy published on our Site under Shipping & Returns / Return Policy.

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

reverse engineer, attempt to breach, or test the Site’s security
interfere with other users’ access or use of the Site
transmit malicious software or harmful code
use the Site for unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized commercial purposes
harvest or collect data from users without consent
use the Site to advertise or solicit outside of BoffBees without written approval

We reserve the right to take legal action and seek damages where misuse of the Site results in harm, disruption, fraud, or unauthorized interference, including denial-of-service attacks or similar conduct.

The Site may contain links to external websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, practices, or transactions of third-party websites or advertisers.

Any dealings between you and third parties found through the Site are solely between you and that third party.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BoffBees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, products purchased through the Site, or any inability to use the Site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

We may, without prior notice, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site or your account if you breach these Terms or if we believe such action is necessary to protect the Site, our business, or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Site immediately ceases. Any obligations or liabilities arising before termination remain enforceable.

If you are dissatisfied with the Site or these Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using the Site.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Subject to any applicable dispute resolution requirements, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

12. Miscellaneous

Electronic communications from us satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may assign, transfer, or subcontract our rights or obligations under these Terms at any time.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
